Dog Shot in the Belly While Sleeping in Zovuni

The dog was rushed to the clinic in a pool of blood, and surgery began moments later to try to save its life. The dog was beloved in Zovuni, cared for and fed by everyone; it was friendly and very kind. It was sleeping in the yard of one of its caretakers.

However, in the morning, it was found half-dead and bleeding profusely. During the surgery, it was determined that the dog had been shot, specifically in the belly and from close range, indicating that the dog was likely asleep or lying down at the time of the attack. The shooting occurred inside a person's own yard.
