The Chairman of the Supreme Judicial Council Comments on the Threats to a Judge's Life and the Urgent Meeting

Today, ArmLur.am reported that Mher Petrosyan, a judge of the Administrative Court who made an interim decision regarding Onik Gasparyan, has contacted the Supreme Judicial Council (SJC), stating that his life is in danger. Citing his own sources, it was mentioned that the SJC has convened an urgent meeting to examine the threats directed at the judge.

ArmDaily.am reached out to Ruben Vardazaryan, the Chairman of the SJC, who addressed the circulating information, stating: “I am currently at home watching television, there is no meeting. The judge has applied to the SJC, we have invited him, we have spoken, and his application will be processed in accordance with the law.”

Vardazaryan did not elaborate on the content of the application.
