Russia Resumes Air Travel with 6 Countries Starting April 1

Russia will resume regular passenger flights with Germany, Sri Lanka, Venezuela, Syria, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan starting April 1. This was announced to journalists by the Russian Federal Operational Headquarters for the fight against coronavirus, according to TASS news agency.

It was noted that in coordination with German aviation authorities, regular air travel will be mutually restored on the routes Frankfurt-Moscow-Frankfurt, Frankfurt-Saint Petersburg-Frankfurt, and Moscow-Berlin-Moscow.

Additionally, flights will also be resumed on the routes Moscow-Caracas, Moscow-Damascus, Moscow-Dushanbe, Moscow-Tashkent, and Moscow-Colombo.

The operational headquarters also reported that the frequency of regular flights from Russia to Cuba, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Egypt, and the UAE will be increased.
