Location of Two Missing Contract Soldiers Identified

The two contract soldiers whose communication was lost on March 21 have been located. Gevorg Altunyan, the head of the Information and Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia, stated in an interview with "Armenian Time" that the location of the soldiers has been identified. Currently, evacuation operations are underway. No information about the soldiers' condition has been released yet.

It is worth noting that on March 21, in severe snow conditions, communication was lost with two contract soldiers while they were transitioning from one combat post to another in military unit N of the Armed Forces of Armenia. This information was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia.

The ministry had previously informed that ongoing search and rescue operations have been hindered by relentless snowstorms since yesterday.
