A New Patrol Service to Launch in Yerevan This July

The government has approved the minimum salary scales for patrol service employees as of July this year. This information was reported by the government of Armenia.

In line with the promise made during the admission announcement for service trainees in 2020, the minimum calculated salary has been set at 320,000 AMD (taxed at 245,000 AMD).

This approach to compensation aims to ensure effective solutions to the challenges posed by the newly established service and increase its attractiveness.

The patrol units, which assist citizens, maintain public order, and prevent crime, are expected to contribute to enhancing the sense of legality and security within the community, while also improving public trust in the police.
