Discussion on the Construction of Railways and Highways: Mher Grigoryan on Unblocking Issues
We have made progress in the process of unblocking regional communications, but currently, there are expert-level works being conducted that are crucial for finding the right solutions to the issue.
This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan during a question-and-answer session with the government in response to MP Viktor Yengibaryan's question regarding regional unblocking.
“A tripartite working group of deputy prime ministers is operating. We have already held several meetings. There are also subgroups that are conducting expert work related to the technical aspects of infrastructure, as well as legal, security, and other issues. We had hoped to present a report by March 1, but that was not possible because there was a need for additional work,” he said.
In response to Yengibaryan's subsequent question about the specific infrastructures in question and whether transport infrastructures besides the railway are planned to be operational, Grigoryan summarized, “The main issues being discussed are the construction of railways and highways, which are envisioned in all possible directions.”
