COVID-19 Update: Rising Number of Infections in Armenia

As of March 18th, Armenia has reported 1,024 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of infections to 181,165. According to the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of Armenia, 19 citizens have died from the virus in the last day, increasing the total death toll to 3,301.

Additionally, there have been 7 reported deaths of patients infected with COVID-19 due to other illnesses in the last 24 hours. As of March 18th, these cases have reached a total of 848. Overall, 26 people have died in one day, bringing the total number of death cases to 4,149.

In the same time span, 273 individuals have recovered, making the total recoveries 167,186. The number of actively treated patients has risen to 9,830, with an increase of 725 in one day. A total of 4,687 tests have been conducted in the last 24 hours, with 788,953 tests done overall to date.
