New COVID-19 Infection Numbers Released

As of March 17 at 11:00 AM, a total of 180,141 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed, with 166,913 recoveries and 3,282 fatalities. Currently, there are 9,105 patients receiving treatment for the virus. In total, 784,266 tests have been conducted.

Yesterday alone, 4,181 tests were performed, resulting in 854 new confirmed cases of coronavirus. There were 211 recoveries and 5 deaths reported. The previous day recorded 2 deaths where patients had contracted the virus, but their deaths were due to other underlying health conditions. The total number of such cases is now 841.
