905,848 Textbooks to Be Acquired with State Budget Funds

The Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports of Armenia has approved the list of textbooks to be acquired within the framework of the budgetary expenditures for the "Provision of Textbooks and Educational Literature for Students of Educational Institutions" event, as stipulated by the law on the state budget of the Republic of Armenia for 2021.

Accordingly, 38 types of textbooks for elementary grades, as well as exercise and workbooks, have been approved. The minister's decree also includes 10 types of textbooks intended for national minorities, specifically the "Yezidi Alphabet", "Kurdish Alphabet", "Yezidi Literature", "Yezidi Language", and "Kurdish Language".

In total, 905,848 textbooks, exercise, and workbooks will be acquired at an annual cost of 919,170,109 AMD. The textbooks will be printed by the publishing houses "Edit Print", "Manmar", "Arevik Publishing", "Zangak-97", "Tigran the Great", "Astghik Publishing", and the "Armenian Chess Academy" foundation.
