Today, Deaths from Coronavirus Exceed Yesterday's Figures: Updated Data

As of March 16, 585 new cases of coronavirus infection have been confirmed in Armenia, bringing the total number of infected individuals to 179,287.

According to the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Republic of Armenia, 12 citizens have died from the coronavirus in the last day, with the total number of deaths now at 3,277.

In addition, there have been 2 cases of death due to other illnesses among patients infected with coronavirus. As of March 16, the number of these cases stands at 839. Overall, 12 individuals have died in one day, bringing the total number of deaths to 4,116.

In the same day, 292 people have recovered, with the total number of recoveries reaching 166,702. Currently, there are 8,469 individuals under medical treatment (an increase of 279 in one day).

A total of 3,242 tests were conducted in the last day, with the cumulative number of tests performed to date being 780,085.
