A General and National Hero Arrested in Azerbaijan on Murder Charges
The General Prosecutor's Office of Azerbaijan has officially confirmed the arrest of national hero, General Rovshan Akperov. According to the Minval.az website, the recently dismissed and reserve-sent general is accused of premeditated murder.
It was noted that the crime took place 19 years ago in Kyiv. Rovshan Akperov killed businessman Elchin Aliyev by inflicting knife wounds to the heart.
