Prosecutor's Office Response to Scandalous Video

As previously reported, soldiers stationed at the combat outpost No. 126 of the Armenian Armed Forces, located near the city of Kapan, are living in inhumane conditions. They claim they have been forced to stand guard with unprotected automatic rifles and have been told that the position should be handed over to Azerbaijan. They have left a note stating that they are staying voluntarily.

The advisor to the Chief Prosecutor, Gor Abrahamyan, commented on this matter, saying, “A video is actively circulating on social media about the state of affairs at the combat outpost of the Armed Forces of Armenia located near Kapan, in which the soldiers make claims about the orders or tasks they have been given.”

Upon the order of the military prosecutor of Goris, Haik Margaryan, materials are being prepared in the military police department of Kapan, aimed at verifying the conditions of service and the circumstances of organization, identifying any apparent criminal approaches within them, and addressing the matter accordingly.
