Around 180 servicemen arrested, 12 commanders and two senior officers targeted: 'Joghourt'

'Joghourt' newspaper reports that the Investigative Committee of Armenia’s military investigative division has initiated and is investigating around 1500 criminal cases related to the Artsakh war, involving more than 12,500 individuals. Furthermore, approximately 180 servicemen have been arrested in connection with these cases, and charges have been brought against over 500 individuals.

The criminal prosecution is aimed at 12 commanders, including two senior officers. According to sources from 'Joghourt,' a decision has been made to recognize over 103,000 individuals as victims in the context of the criminal investigations launched based on acts of aggression, including more than 3,300 deceased, over 9,000 who sustained various degrees of bodily harm, and more than 90,000 forcibly displaced persons.
