Video: Knife Attacks on 58-Year-Old Man's Face

On March 9, around 14:30, the police department of Erebuni received a report from the hospital that an ambulance team was transferring a 58-year-old man with injuries to his face and neck for medical assistance.

Police officers who arrived at the medical center prepared the necessary documentation. The victim was a resident of Vedi and had been stabbed.

A criminal case was initiated in connection with the incident by the investigative department of the Erebuni and Nubarashen administrative regions.

Thanks to the rapid and operational work of law enforcement, the crime was uncovered with fresh evidence. Erebuni criminal investigators obtained information that the suspect, a 60-year-old resident of Ajemyan Street in Yerevan, had inflicted knife wounds to the victim's face during an altercation that occurred near the "Sasuntsi David" metro station.

On the same day, around 16:30, the suspect was located and taken to the Erebuni police department, where he provided a confession. Efforts are underway to locate the knife. The investigation into the criminal case is ongoing.
