Fire Breaks Out at Foam Production Plant in Balagovit Village

A fire has broken out at a foam production plant in Balagovit village, Kotayk Province. This information was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia.

The Kotayk regional crisis management center received the fire alarm today at 11:21 AM. Two fire and rescue crews from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' Yerevan and regional rescue departments have been dispatched to the scene.

It has been determined that the fire erupted in building 5 on 8th Street in Balagovit village at the 'Gold Shin' LLC facility (4000 sq. m). Approximately 150 kg of adhesive and 10 pieces of foam have burned in an area of 30 sq. m, partially.

Firefighters managed to contain the fire by 11:50 AM and extinguished it by 12:18 PM.
