Accident Occurs on Askeran-Stepanakert Highway, Injuries Reported

Emergency services received a report about a traffic accident that occurred on the 2nd kilometer of the Askeran-Stepanakert highway. Police investigators from the Askeran regional department and rescuers from the regional emergency situations service promptly arrived at the scene.

It was revealed that A.T., a resident of the village of Ivanyan in the Askeran region, had entered the oncoming lane while driving a "Mercedes Benz" and collided with a "UAZ Hunter" driven by A.A., a resident of Askeran city.

Both individuals sustained various degrees of injuries and were transported by an ambulance vehicle to the Republican Medical Center. According to the information received from doctors, A.A.'s condition is stable, while A.T.'s condition is serious but stable.

The Askeran regional police department is conducting an investigation into the incident.
