Photographs: Such a Car Accident Only Happens in Movies

Last night, a car accident occurred in Yerevan. This was reported by Shamshyan.com. A Mercedes car collided with two concrete pillars of an underground crossing on Arshakunyats Avenue, breaking them, and then continued onward, crashing into one of the giant tuff columns of the "Cinema Homeland".

According to a journalist at the scene, as a result of the accident, the driver, who was first assisted by the employees of "Cinema Homeland," was transported to the "Erebuni" Medical Center. While waiting for the doctors to arrive, the staff managed to pull the driver out of the vehicle and provided first aid before he was transferred to the hospital.

The police are determining the identity of the driver. Emergency medical staff informed a photojournalist that the driver was in extremely critical condition. While the traffic police investigator was working at the accident scene, an emergency call was received reporting that the injured driver had died on the way to the hospital.
