Pedestrian Accident in Yerevan: Father Dies at Scene, Doctors Fight for Son's Life

A fatal pedestrian accident occurred in Yerevan today. Around 21:40, a driver of an unknown make and license plate struck two pedestrians on Gevorg Chavush Street and fled the scene, leaving them helpless, reports Shamshyan.com.

One of the victims died at the scene, while the other was transported to Armenia Medical Center by emergency doctors with a severe diagnosis.

Police have identified the injured man as 34-year-old Edgar Mayilyan, while the deceased is his father, Samvel Mayilyan, whose age is currently being verified.
