26-Year-Old Man Dies After Mine Collapse in Kapan

At around 14:20 today, the Kapan Medical Center notified the Kapan Police Department that a young man's body had been brought in by the medical duty team. According to photographer Gagik Shamshyan, police and investigators have determined that the deceased was Anushavan Sogomonyan, a 26-year-old resident of Kapan, who was transported to the hospital after being involved in a mine collapse at the Shaumyan mine of the Closed Joint Stock Company "ChARAT Kapan" at a depth of 830 meters.

Based on the investigator's decision, several examinations have been ordered, including a forensic examination of the body. According to G. Shamshyan's information, the incident occurred around 13:00, and the deceased was working as a shift supervisor at the company "Es In E Mineing" LLC.
