Vandalism of Armenian Monument

A monument in the community of Dzoraglukh, Aragatsotn Province, has been defaced by an unknown individual or individuals. The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia urges once again: “The preservation of cultural heritage is a part of our identity and history. Damaging a monument is nothing less than a hostile act towards Armenian culture.

Dear compatriots, we once again call for a heightened sense of responsibility, to protect our cultural heritage, to avoid causing damage to it, and to refrain from making inscriptions on monuments. Our homeland is love, our culture is love. We are obligated to love every part of our homeland and culture with complete devotion.”
