One of Moscow's Most Influential 'Thieves in Law' Arrested
Law enforcement officers have arrested 55-year-old 'thief in law' Sergey Levashov, known in criminal circles as Rams, in the Moscow region. This information was reported by the 'Prime Crime' news agency.
Authorities suspect Levashov of attempting to sell large quantities of drugs. During a personal search, four packages containing approximately 7 grams of heroin were seized from the criminal figure. If found guilty, the arrested individual faces a sentence of up to twenty years in prison.
Originally from the Tyumen region, Levashov is one of the most influential Slavic thieves in the Moscow area, alongside Petrik and Shishkan. He was crowned in 1993 by the influential Georgian thieves in law Jemal Mikelaidze (Arsen) and Robert Kalandadze (Robert).
Levashov's last conviction for weapons and robbery occurred during the Soviet era, and he has not faced criminal liability since then.
