Negotiations Halted Due to Country's Instability: Relative of Missing Soldier

Relatives of missing soldiers met again today with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. One of them, Arsen Ghukasyan, shared some details of the meeting with journalists gathered in front of the government building.

“We wanted clarifications on certain issues related to the return of captives and the halt of search operations for the missing. We told the Prime Minister that our children are suffering from these obstacles. He said he was aware of everything,” Ghukasyan said.

According to him, the main obstacle is the country's internal political developments. “Rustam Muradov himself said that negotiations have been halted due to our country's unstable situation. Then he said that the search operations for the missing will resume, and today they did resume. What that man said, happened,” he stated.

He mentioned that search operations in Artsakh are being conducted by two teams: one is looking for remains while the other is searching for survivors.

The meeting between the relatives and the Prime Minister lasted about an hour and a half.
