Video: Young Man Stole Terminal and Cash Register Money, Caught at the Scene

On the night of February 23, a young man used technical means to open the door of a store, broke into the payment terminal inside, and took the money. He also took the cash from the register and collected most of the cigarettes from the display cases, but he was unable to exit the store.

During this time, a call was received at the Charbakh police division of the Shengavit police department. The operational group of the division quickly responded and apprehended the young man inside the store, right at the scene.

The young man was taken to the Charbakh division, where his identity was established; he is a 25-year-old resident of Vanadzor. He confessed to the crime and was arrested. A personal search revealed several hundred thousand drams that had been stolen. It was also discovered that he had entered another store on the same night and stolen technical equipment.

An instrument used to open the store's door was found at the scene. The circumstances are being clarified. The investigation of the criminal case is ongoing.
