Video: Ammunition Found in 69-Year-Old Resident of Movses' Home, Claims It’s from the First Nagorno-Karabakh War

The Tavush division of the police received operational information that a resident of the village of Movses possesses illegal weapons and ammunition. This information was verified on February 16. The chief inspector of the division visited the 69-year-old man, a member of the hunters' union, around noon to inspect the metal safe where the weapons were stored. During the inspection, a shortened single-barreled hunting rifle and a hunting knife were discovered.

The homeowner stated that the items found were acquired during the years of the First Nagorno-Karabakh War. As a member of the hunters' union, he was obligated to know all laws and regulations regarding firearms. He was undoubtedly aware that the law prescribes legal repercussions for such actions, and to avoid these consequences, the logical step would have been to voluntarily surrender the weapons and ammunition.

This is the kind of rational attitude that the police expect from all citizens who possess illegal weapons and ammunition.
