VIDEO: Man Who Opened Fire on Woman Driving CHRYSLER and Her Passenger Arrested
On the night of February 19, around 01:30, operational data was received by the Police's Department for Combating Human Trafficking, Illegal Migration, and Terrorism. As a result of operational-investigative measures carried out by officers from the Lori regional police department and the departments of Taroni, Bazumi, and Gugark, a 33-year-old man was discovered and taken into custody from one of the houses in Vahagni village of Lori region. He had been wanted since October 2020 on charges of attempted murder of two or more persons, with a detention measure in place.
It is recalled that on the night of October 25 last year, around 03:30, police received a report of a vehicle on fire near 58/1 Khapanzyan Street, with signs of gunfire and blood. Following operational-investigative measures and investigative actions taken within the framework of the initiated criminal case, it became evident that the 33-year-old man had blocked the CHRYSLER vehicle's path and subsequently fired at the woman driving the vehicle and her passenger. However, for reasons beyond his control, the crime was not completed. The man has been arrested and transferred to a correctional facility. The preliminary investigation is ongoing.
