Araik Harutyunyan Visits Amaras Monastery with Family

On February 21, the President of the Republic of Artsakh, Araik Harutyunyan, attended a Divine Liturgy at Amaras Monastery with his family members, conducted by His Grace Bishop Vrtanes Abrahamyan, the leader of the Artsakh spiritual diocese, as reported by the President's office.

The country’s leader emphasized the crucial role of the Armenian Apostolic Church in public life and assured that, in cooperation with the Artsakh diocese, the government will allocate funds to ensure transportation links from the capital to the churches operating in the regions every Sunday.

The liturgy was also attended by Vitaly Balasanyan, Secretary of the Artsakh Security Council, Edik Avanesyan, Head of the Martuni District Administration, and servicemen of the Defense Army as well as pilgrims.
