168 New Coronavirus Cases and 5 Deaths Confirmed in Armenia

As of February 21, Armenia has confirmed 168 new cases of coronavirus infection, bringing the total number of infected individuals to 170,402. According to the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia, 5 citizens have died as a result of the virus in just one day, raising the total death toll to 3,164.

Additionally, there have been 2 cases of patients who died from other illnesses while being infected with coronavirus registered within the day. As per the latest data, the total number of these death cases is 801.

In total, 7 people died within a day, making the overall number of deaths reach 3,965. The number of recoveries reported in one day is 91, bringing the total number of recoveries to 161,994. There are currently 4,443 patients receiving treatment (an increase of 70 within the day).

On this day, 3,334 tests were conducted, and the total number of tests carried out to date stands at 704,131.
