258 New Cases of Coronavirus Registered in Georgia

In the last 24 hours, the number of detected cases of coronavirus infection in Georgia has increased by 258, and 10 people have died.

According to the official StopCov website of the Georgian government, since the onset of the pandemic, there have been 268,355 detected cases of the infection in the country.

At the same time, in the past 24 hours, 571 people have been discharged from the hospital, making a total of 261,637 patients treated since the beginning of the pandemic, with 3,435 deaths reported.

During the day, 9,653 tests were conducted, including 4,697 antibody tests and 4,956 PCR tests.

A total of 328 people are under quarantine, 1,723 in hospitals, and 231 in COVID hotels.

41 Georgian citizens have been transferred from other countries to the republic for treatment.

The first case of coronavirus was registered in Georgia on February 26, 2020.
