After Vardanyan's Visit, the National Assembly Staff Issued Yellow Warnings to MPs
The visit of Aghvan Vardanyan to the parliament has caused such concern among the leadership that immediately after, Tigran Galstyan, the head of the National Assembly staff, sent a letter to the MPs urging them to comply with the security rules established by the Speaker of the National Assembly in a 2019 decision. Specifically, it states that 'the movement of visitors with a pass corresponding to the respective floor and a one-time entry pass to other floors and offices of the secured facility, without the accompaniment of the notifier, is prohibited.'
One of the MPs noted that it was clearly stated that anyone who issues a pass is obliged to greet the visitor at the parliament entrance, accompany them, and ensure they do not move alone, especially not give anti-government interviews.”
