Video: Trump-Owned Hotel Demolished

In Atlantic City, New Jersey, the 39-story Trump Plaza casino and hotel, formerly owned by Donald Trump, was demolished. The video of the explosion was posted on nj.com, a local portal's YouTube channel. It is highlighted that many city residents came to watch the destruction of the iconic building.

The portal notes that the building opened in May 1984 and was the city’s tenth casino, but it was closed in 2014. The closure of the establishment left thousands without jobs. By 2016, after halting operations, the property's rights transferred from Trump Entertainment Resorts to Icahn Enterprises. According to reports, Atlantic City's Mayor Marty Small had set the goal of demolishing the building in 2020, which had begun to deteriorate by that time, as reported by RIA Novosti.
