Arayik Harutyunyan Meets with Relatives of Missing Persons in Artsakh
On February 11, the President of the Artsakh Republic, Arayik Harutyunyan, met with a group of relatives of missing persons. This information was reported to Armenpress by the press office of the President of the Artsakh Republic.
The President presented the ongoing search operations, their outcomes, and challenges, while also listening to the relatives' observations and concerns regarding these matters. Arayik Harutyunyan noted that the efforts being undertaken are multifaceted, involving both Armenian and Russian sides, as well as the International Committee of the Red Cross and the Azerbaijani side.
Some aspects of the process, naturally, are not public; however, according to the President, everything possible is being done and will continue to be done to clarify the fates of missing servicemen and civilians, as well as to facilitate the return of captives. “Efforts for the return of captives will continue until the last captive is returned, regardless of all existing difficulties,” stated Arayik Harutyunyan.
Also participating in the meeting was Karen Sargsyan, the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Artsakh Republic.
