VIDEO: Illegal Drug Trafficking Case Uncovered

The police continue their ongoing fight against the illegal circulation and use of drugs. This was reported by the Police of the Republic of Armenia.

The latest incident was uncovered by officers from the police's metro protection department. Criminal investigators, acting on operational intelligence, apprehended a minor from Yerevan suspected of drug possession and use on February 8, in the lobby of the "Zoravar Andranik" metro station.

A personal search revealed a distinctive-smelling dried, crushed substance. A forensic chemical examination has been requested. The circumstances of the case are being clarified.
