Arman Tatoyan Discusses the Public Communication Strategy of the Human Rights Defender with Graduates of PR School
The Human Rights Defender received graduates of the PR School led by Astghik Avetisyan, the president of the Armenian PR Association. Arman Tatoyan presented the communication strategy of the Human Rights Defender’s office, especially focusing on the nuances of effective communication during crisis situations, the importance of awareness campaigns, and more.
Tatoyan noted that communication with society is a living process that is continuously evolving, based on the principle of an individual approach to a person or issue. He emphasized that journalists play a fundamental role in the connection between public bodies and society, and it is also very important to work individually with journalists to eliminate stereotypes about the institution as well as to report on the Defender's activities in general.
The PR School graduates posed various questions to the Defender related to human rights protection. Arman Tatoyan highly appreciated the role of the Armenian PR Association and wished success to PR specialists, emphasizing their crucial work in the development of freedom of speech.
