Some People Were Unable to Build Drones Within 2 Years Instead of Bentleys, Estates: Alen Simonyan

Vice Speaker of the National Assembly Alen Simonyan spoke at the parliamentary session, addressing his colleagues from the Prosperous Armenia Party as well as Bright Armenia.

“I want to call on Mr. Abovyan and Ms. Zohrabyan to be more restrained because those two or three months during which you allowed yourself to shout from your seat, to make remarks, and to respond in the most drastic manner to try to prove something has passed, it is over, it is finished,” said Simonyan. “If you are not aware, step outside, and you will see.”

“I agree with almost all the points of Mr. Babajanyan’s speech. There is one thing that you did not mention, Mr. Babajanyan, which is that people who have been in power for 30 years blame us for everything and the failures of this two-year period. Yes, we failed. Some people were unable to build drones instead of Bentleys and estates in these two years. Yes, we are guilty, and we will fix that, I am confident,” added Simonyan.

The speaker called for respect among colleagues from Prosperous Armenia and Bright Armenia, stating, “Enough, let us respect each other because if there is going to be talk, there will be the same kind of response from now on.”
