Continuing to Dismantle the Governance System: Davit Khajakyan

Davit Khajakyan, the head of the 'Luyse' faction in the Yerevan City Council, wrote on his Facebook page: 'They are still continuing to dismantle the governance system. The district governor of the center has decided to get rid of the head of the urban planning and land use division in order to carry out construction violations without any hassle. To achieve this goal, they have initiated an unreasonable change. They have decided to merge the divisions of urban planning and communal economy! These are completely different functions, requiring specialized potential, and their merger would be akin to combining the functions of the district governor with that of the land registry head. I hope the ruling party will not be guided by the illegal actions of the district governor.'
