Serzh Sargsyan's Decision Will Be Crucial for the Opposition: 'Hraparak'

Serzh Sargsyan's decision regarding participation in the elections will be crucial for the opposition. The Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) has maintained both its regional offices and a significant layer of party members and supporters. Most importantly, there is a large number of representatives from the business world who hold a considerable amount of votes and are alongside the RPA and particularly Serzh Sargsyan.

If Serzh Sargsyan decides not to participate in the elections, the question arises: where will those votes go? That is the key question of the day. For example, who will the employees and fellow villagers of Ashot Arsenyan from Jermuk, Arkadi Hambartsumyan, Araik Grigoryan, and many others vote for? And those votes are not insignificant.

If Sargsyan does not participate in the elections, will he call on them to support the opposition, or will he leave the elections open, allowing a significant portion of those votes to go to the authorities? The opposition is faced with this dilemma but hopes that the RPA and its leader will not offer such a gift to Nikol, who handed Artsakh over to the enemy.
