Owner of Gelendzhik 'Palace' Identified

Businessman Arkady Rotenberg has stated in an interview with the Mash Telegram channel that he is the owner of the 'palace' located in Gelendzhik.

"Now it will no longer be a secret, I am the beneficiary. It was quite a complicated project, there were many creditors, and I managed to become the beneficiary. It is a treasure, a wonderful place," Rotenberg said. He admitted that the building will be turned into a hotel.

Alexei Navalny's film, which detailed the Gelendzhik 'palace', raised significant public outcry. Following such 'revelations', journalists from Mash have tracked down the 'palace' and now the mysterious owner.
