Russian Peacekeepers Begin March Towards Russian-Turkish Observation Center Deployment Area
Russian servicemen have begun their march with heavy equipment towards the Kiyamaddinli region of Nagorno-Karabakh, where a Russian-Turkish joint observation center for monitoring the ceasefire regime and all military operations in the area of the Artsakh conflict will be established, reports the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
In Stepanakert, at the deployment point of the Russian peacekeeping contingent, servicemen have studied the structure, significance, tasks, and functions of the joint center, as well as the organization of work and the culture, traditions, and features of the country in which they are to carry out their missions, according to the statement from the Russian Ministry of Defense.
It is noted that the personnel of the joint center, which is equally represented by Russian and Turkish sides, will monitor the situation and carry out tasks related to the control of the ceasefire regime using unmanned aerial vehicles.
