Let Our Defender of the Homeland Carry Out His Noble Mission Only in Safe Conditions: Arayik Harutyunyan

President of Artsakh Arayik Harutyunyan wrote on his Facebook page: "Dear compatriots, on this sacred day of the Defender of the Homeland, I bow my head before the sacred memory of our heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the defense of the homeland, before their parents, children, wives, relatives, and before our entire people. The loss is ours, the pain is also ours; the pain of this precious and irretrievable loss is infinitely deep and incurable.

I bow my head before all the soldiers, officers, reservists, and volunteers of the Defense Army who, at a crucial moment, prioritized the interests of the homeland over everything else, standing bravely and fearlessly before death. We are deeply grateful to everyone and proud of their selfless dedication, courage, and bravery, for the benefit of humanity. It is thanks to such self-sacrificing and patriotic individuals that the nation endures, and history and future are crafted.

Let our Defender of the Homeland henceforth carry out his noble mission only in safe conditions, and may all our efforts serve to continue the unfinished work of our fallen brothers, heal the wounds of the Armenian people, and enhance and empower the homeland.
