Kremlin Reveals Who Might Own the Gelendzhik Palace

The owner of the Gelendzhik Palace is either a single entrepreneur or a leader of several enterprises, stated Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the Russian President, to journalists. At the same time, the Kremlin spokesperson added that the names of the owners will not be disclosed as it is not deemed appropriate.

Earlier, Vladimir Putin, during a meeting with students, had responded to questions, stating that he has not watched Alexei Navalny's film about the Gelendzhik Palace due to lack of time, although he did skim through a selection of videos prepared by his aides. He mentioned that none of the assets derived from Navalny's 'investigation' belong or have ever belonged to him or his relatives.

'As for the owners of this facility, you must agree that, more accurately, it is obvious that the owner is an entrepreneur. Indeed, this is a large structure that is well-known in Gelendzhik. This building is controlled directly or indirectly by one or several individuals,' Peskov said.
