Tsarukyan Discusses Prisoner Return and Armenia's Political Agenda with Russian Ambassador
The President of the Prosperous Armenia Party, Gagik Tsarukyan, met with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Armenia, Sergey Kopirkin. The meeting addressed the post-war situation in the region, the process of returning prisoners of war, and issues related to Armenia's domestic political agenda. Gagik Tsarukyan informed about this via a post on his Facebook page.
Tsarukyan also noted, “Ambassador Kopirkin emphasized the importance of the continuity of joint efforts in the development of Armenian-Russian relations, highlighting the need for steps aimed at further strengthening the century-old and fraternal ties between the two countries. The Russian Federation is the main guarantee of security in the region and Armenia's indispensable strategic partner. The strengthening and continuous development of Armenian-Russian political and economic ties has no alternative. I have asked Ambassador Kopirkin to convey my gratitude to President Vladimir Putin for the active efforts in stopping the war in Artsakh and for standing by the Armenian people in difficult times.”
