Armenians are prepared to relocate to Artsakh en masse in pursuit of Russian passports. This is reported by Wargonzo, citing military commander Timofey Ermakov. It is noted that there have been discussions in Stepanakert, Askeran, and Martuni about this trend.

It is believed that if the decision to grant Russian citizenship is made, based on the principles applied in Nagorno-Karabakh, Abkhazia, and South Ossetia, it will truly provide security guarantees for people living in disputed territories.
