Do Not Go to Turkey – The Most Treacherous Country: Zhirinovsky

The leader of Russia's Liberal Democratic Party, Vladimir Zhirinovsky, has urged Russians not to travel to Turkey following an attack on Russians in Istanbul. Earlier, RIA Novosti reported that on Sunday evening, a garbage collector named Hasan Hussein, who suffers from a mental illness, attacked three Russian citizens – a man and two women – with a knife, resulting in injuries. The attacker has been detained. According to the Russian Consulate General in Istanbul, the Russian citizens have been hospitalized with varying degrees of injuries.

“Do not go to Turkey – the most treacherous country,” Zhirinovsky said, commenting on the situation.
