Video: Two People Stabbed; 20-Year-Old Arrested

On January 16, around 13:30, the police department of Akhuryan received a report from a medical center that two residents of the village of Voskheask had sought medical assistance for stab wounds. They had been stabbed.

A criminal case was initiated regarding the incident. Investigative operatives undertook a series of immediate actions aimed at solving the case, including drafting necessary documents at the hospital and conducting operable inquiries. As a result, information was obtained that the two victims were stabbed by a 20-year-old resident of Voskheask during a domestic dispute.

On the same day, the suspect was taken to the police department of Akhuryan and arrested. Based on sufficient evidence collected during the preliminary investigation, on January 19, he was charged under the criminal code for “Causing severe harm to health intentionally.” The 20-year-old is now in custody.
