Borrell and Lavrov to Discuss Further Stabilization of the Nagorno-Karabakh Situation
From February 4-6, Josep Borrell, the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, will make a working visit to Moscow. This was reported by the Russian Foreign Ministry, noting that Borrell will be received by Sergey Lavrov, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, on February 5.
During the meeting, issues and prospects of Russia-EU relations will be discussed. The announcement also states that the sides will exchange views on current topics on the international agenda, including the situation in the Western Balkans, the Middle East, and North Africa, as well as developments in the CIS region.
The parties will discuss the prospects for the implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action with Iran, the further stabilization of the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh, security issues in Europe, and other topics of mutual interest.
