Turkey Has Increased Defense Program Funding 11 Times in the Last Five Years, Says Erdogan

In the last five years, Turkey has increased its funding for defense programs 11 times, stated President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

“In just the last five years, we have initiated approximately 350 new projects. The budget was set at 5.5 billion dollars, but we have increased the funding for defense projects 11 times, reaching 60 billion dollars,” Erdogan noted.
