Tehmine Vardanyan, a member of the Yerevan City Council’s 'Luys' faction, wrote on her Facebook page: 'I hear Gagik Jhangiryan's speech and am astonished—where has this most sacred person been, why haven't we recognized him, why hasn’t he worked within the system? No, it’s hard to believe this is the Gagik Jhangiryan who is widely known by everyone. Today's Jhangiryan’s 'feet are in the clouds.' Legends about the former Jhangiryan circulate both within the system and in society, and I must say, not in a good light. I am confident that today at least 90% of citizens are listening and laughing.'
