Schumer Announces Trump's Impeachment Articles to be Sent to Senate on January 25

The articles of impeachment against former President Donald Trump will be transmitted to the U.S. Senate on Monday, January 25, according to Reuters, citing Senate Democratic Majority Leader Chuck Schumer of New York, as reported by Gazeta.

As the politician stated, he spoke with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who confirmed that the impeachment articles would be sent to the Senate on Monday.

Earlier, Senate Republican Minority Leader Mitch McConnell had suggested that the impeachment process for Trump not begin any sooner than February 13 of this year.
