British Ambassador to Azerbaijan Promises Efforts to Develop Military Cooperation

The Minister of Defense of Azerbaijan, Zakir Hasanov, met with James Sharp, the Ambassador of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to Azerbaijan, according to vestikavkaza.ru. During the meeting, the parties highlighted the significant potential for cooperation between the two countries in the military-technical sector and emphasized the importance of expanding these opportunities.

The ambassador promised to "make efforts to develop Azerbaijan-UK cooperation in the military field." It was also noted that Sharp congratulated Azerbaijan on its victory in the Nagorno-Karabakh region and mentioned that Great Britain could assist in the demining of the liberated territories.
