Elon Musk Promises $100 Million for Best CO2 Capture Technology

Elon Musk, the founder of SpaceX, has promised to pay $100 million to those who develop the best technology for capturing carbon dioxide, as reported by Armenpress.

"I will donate $100 million as a prize for the best carbon capture technology," Musk wrote on Twitter. He added that details of the proposal will be revealed next week.

Carbon capture refers to the process of separating carbon dioxide from industrial and energy sources and its long-term sequestration from the atmosphere. The main goal of carbon capture is to combat global warming and pollution, as reported by RIA Novosti.
